MORE THAN JUST DESIGNER

I am a maker. A storyteller that values both process and passion.

A few of my favorite things…

Warm coffee in the morning. slow weekends. time with family. Laughing with my boys. baking. puzzling. life through my lens. a good list. building virtual carts. learning new skills.

Hi, I'm Leslie—thanks for stopping by. Whether you landed here on purpose or by chance, I’m glad you did. Before you scroll on, I’d love to offer a quick glimpse into who I am and how I think.

At my core, I love when things make sense. While some lean toward boundless creativity, I’ve found that rules and context actually spark mine. For me, “the frame” isn’t a limit—it’s a starting point. It offers clarity, structure, and the freedom to design with intention.

In my world, the frame can be anything: the user, the environment, a brand system, or an experience map. These factors shape the decisions behind purposeful, scalable design. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked in the tech industry—primarily in consumer electronics—where I led projects from problem definition and concept development to prototyping and production. Along the way, I’ve stayed curious about cultural shifts, consumer motivations, and the evolving language of color and material.

Beyond product design, I’ve explored that same relationship between clarity and creativity through photography. Whether in the darkroom or behind a digital lens, I’ve learned that focus isn’t about narrowing—it’s about amplifying what matters.

In my free time, I like to challenge myself with new creative projects and play dinosaurs and big trucks with my boys—moments that keep my creativity lively and my heart full.
